Events:

• European International Markets
The European Market will be held over a selected 3-day period or a whole week, depending on
participation, at selected parts of the city. The International Markets events will be open to the
public and the producers and businessmen will have the chance to display their local and
traditional products on stalls. At these markets, chefs will be providing useful information about
the local products. This concerns events that aim at getting to know traditional cuisines and tastes
from all over the world.

• Classes and Tasting Events
As part of the festival, classes will be organized in such an original way as to give participants the
chance to taste special food and wine flavors. As part of the classes, advice will be offered as to
the way as well as the ingredients that can be used for even a novice to be able to cook.
Participants will have the chance to sample spicy recipes, in addition to learning how to select the
right ingredients when shopping. A well-known chef will be offering advice and information.
Moreover, various cooking ideas will be detailed.

• Food Talks
Throughout the festival, there will be interesting talks by well-known chefs and other figures. The
topics of the talks will be relevant to gastronomy and tourism for novices and cooking
connoisseurs, but also for the lovers of fine dining and wine.

• Kids and Families
Children are the stars in these events. There will be an event, called “Meet the farm” whereby
children along with their parents will participate in a creative workshop and learn about
traditional as well as modern farming methods.
